Although the viola is extremely similar to the violin, it is actually one of the least popular instruments in the string family. This instrument is slightly bigger with a lower range, but is still held between the chin and shoulder. The beauty and tone of this instrument is underrated and just can’t be beat.
Each student will receive customized instruction based on need. Musicianship, reading, rote, technique, intonation, ear-training, tone, and theory are included in lessons. Students must be 5 years of age or older to take viola lessons.
